CrowdControlHQ announced as a Business Continuity Awards Finalist

01 May 2016 | 05:26 am

CCHQ-CIR-Continuity-Awards-2016CrowdControlHQ has been shortlisted for the Most Innovative Software Solution of the Year in the Business Continuity Awards, hailed as the pinnacle of success by continuity, security, resilience and risk professionals. The UK’s leading social media risk management and compliance platform - CrowdControlHQ will go head to head with other cutting edge disruptive technology solutions including Boardpacks from eShare and Quantifi.

The use of social media management software has accelerated since the launch of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Social Media guidelines (in 2015) alongside high profile media reports of heavy fines on companies where industry regulators deem that there has been a failure to deliver on adequate customer service, such as the £18million fine of Scottish Power by Ofgen.

Social Media Management risks include the failure to address operational issues such as prohibiting the sharing of login passwords, failure to create audit trails of conversations throughout customer service engagement, as well as brand management issues around social media policy, messaging and customer response.

James Leavesley CEO of CrowdControlHQ said: “We are thrilled to have been announced as a finalist in the Business Continuity Awards for Most Innovative Product. We have worked incredibly hard to deliver a product that not only supports our clients in meeting the requirements of industry regulators but their own governance policy as a business. This award is particularly pertinent as there is a misconception that regulation means that creativity is lost but we believe that taking care of the risks of social media allows teams to be much more creative and achieve far greater return on investment for their marketing communication and customer service efforts.”

The winners will be announced at the Business Continuity Awards gala dinner and ceremony on 9 June 2016, at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
