26 November 2015 | 10:19 am

Social Media Management ConsultancyThe UK’s leading social media risk management platform CrowdControlHQ have announced that they will launch a new social media consultancy service in early 2016.

The move follows a very successful year for the UK technology business, with accelerated business growth fuelled by greater recognition across the UK of the need to ‘buy british’ when it comes to social media management, to ensure compliance with UK Law and industry policy.

The Birmingham based software business, now employs 24 people and has worked tirelessly to provide the UK with a five star alternative to software solutions offered by Canadian and US companies, allowing its clients to customise their dashboard and manage the risks of social media alongside their day to day marketing and customer service delivery.

The platform is now used extensively across the public and commercial sectors, with a strong foothold in environments where reputational stakes are high and there is a need for strong customer engagement, often in high pressure response environments, such as within the emergency services. Over 35% of British Police forces now use the system.

James Leavesley, CEO of CrowdControlHQ said:

“The increase in investment in social media is leading to an intensive spotlight on marketing teams, with greater demand for return on investment, calling into question the strategy that sits behind the use of social media. We have the benefit of seeing first hand how our clients are using social media to build their brands, manage their promotion and engage with customer service, giving us the opportunity to help organisations learn from best practice.

The ethos of our platform is about being effective and efficient with social media delivery and our consultancy offer will mirror this. Our platform is customisable which enables organsations to shape it to their strategy and we believe that 2016 will be the year that creative social media strategies come to the forefront. ”

CrowdControlHQ will offer a range of support including strategic planning, crisis management alongside operational training support. The support will be provided by a highly experienced team from CrowdControlHQ with support from some key industry affiliated trainers.

The UK is now one of the first nations to see investment into digital marketing channels exceed 50% of total marketing spend across all marketing efforts, fuelled by the rise in footfall across digital environments and significant investment made into social media during 2015.
